Note

To create global text and code blocks, you must be a team administrator

Create global text blocks

Create reusable blocks of text to add to your site pages. For example, you might manage multiple sites for a franchise and want to update the business hours or company information across all instances. Or, you manage sites for an entire school district and want to keep the district's information consistent and up to date on each school's website.

To create global text:

  1. Open your Enterprise dashboard
  2. At the top of the dashboard, click the Design Library tab.
  3. In the left panel, select Global Text
  4. Click Create New
  5. Enter a name for the text block, then click Create
  6. Write your text. You can use the rich text editor to format the font, style, and format of the text. Keep in mind any formatting changes you make will apply to all pages where the block is used.
  7. Click Save

Create global code blocks

Create a global code block to make HTML changes to pages across sites. For example, you might want to add code for custom animations, or add a custom app to your site pages.

To create global code:

  1. Open your Enterprise dashboard
  2. At the top of the dashboard, click the Design Library tab.
  3. In the left panel, select Global Code
  4. Click Create New
  5. Enter a name for the code block, then click Create
  6. Add your HTML code, then click Save.

  3. On the right, view which pages of your organization-owned sites have an instance of the text or code block and will be updated with your changes.

Manage global content

To search, delete, or rename global content blocks:

  2. Use the search bar to lookup a global content block by its name.

  4. To delete a block, click the name of the global content block, then in the top-right corner, click , then select Delete

Note

You can only delete a global content block if it isn't used on any of your organization's sites.

Add global content to pages

After you've created global content, you can add it to your websites.

To add global content to a page:

  1. From your Enterprise organization dashboard, open the site you want to edit.
  2. In Home menu, navigate to the Pages panel, then click the page you want to add global content to and click Edit
  3. Hover over the section where you want to add a global content block and click Add Block.
