Using Content Link Blocks

The Content Link Block adds a link to another page of your site with a visual preview. When a visitor clicks the content link, they’ll be directed to that page of your site. This is a great way to display content in multiple places.

Content Link Blocks vs. text links

The Content Link Block is different than a link within a Text Block.

A text link directs a visitor to any URL, either on your site or elsewhere. A text link is a great way to reference another page within body text, without taking up too much space.

The Content Link Block only links to another page on the same site. The block includes a visual preview of the page, so it takes up more space and is more eye-catching than a text link. This helps you highlight another part of your site within a page or blog post.

Step 1 - Add the Content Link Block

  1. Open a page or post editor.
  2. Click an Insert Point or the +.
  3. Select Content Link from the menu.

For more detailed steps, visit Adding blocks.

Step 2 - Select content to link

In the Content Link window, select a page to link. Linking a page will display all of the following, if available:

Click Apply to save your changes.
