Using Content Link Blocks

Content Link Blocks add a link to another page of your site with a visual preview. When visitors clicks content links, they’ll be directed to that page of your site. This is a great way to display content in multiple places.

Content Link Blocks vs. text links

Content Link Blocks are different than links within Text Blocks.

Text links direct a visitor to any URL, either on your site or elsewhere. Text links are great ways to reference another page within body text, without taking up too much space.

Content Link Blocks only link to another page on the same site. The blocks include a visual preview of the page, so they take up more space and are more eye-catching than text links. This helps you highlight another part of your site within a page or blog post.

Step 1 - Add the Content Link Block

  1. Open a page or post editor.
  2. Click an Insert Point or the +.
  3. Select Content Link from the menu.

For more detailed steps, visit Adding blocks.

Step 2 - Select content to link

In the Content Link window, select a page to link. Linking a page will display all of the following, if available:

Click Apply to save your changes.
