Content link blocks

Preview and link to content elsewhere on your site.

Last updated January 2, 2025

Use content link blocks to add a visual preview of another page on your site. When visitors click the preview, they’ll be directed to that page. This is a great way to display content in multiple places.

Accessing this feature

Version 7.1 doesn't use page descriptions or featured images, so content link blocks only display the page title.

Content link blocks are different than links within text blocks.

You can use text links to direct visitors to any URL, either on your site or elsewhere. Text links are great ways to reference another page in body text without taking up too much space.

Content link blocks only link to another page on the same site. The blocks include a visual preview of the page, so they take up more space and are more eye-catching than text links. This helps you highlight another part of your site within a page or blog post.

  1. Edit a page or post, click Add Block or an insert point, then click Content Link. For help, visit Adding content with blocks.
  2. Open the block editor by clicking the pencil icon on the block.
  3. Select a page to link.
  4. If your site is on version 7.0, click Apply to save your changes.

Linking a page will display all of the following, if available:
