When you join our Squarespace Affiliate Program or Squarespace Circle referral payment benefit, you can earn a commission by bringing customers to Squarespace. There aren’t any fees associated with our programs, so it’s free to participate, and you’re welcome to participate in both. However, all of our programs require you to apply and get accepted. How you earn commissions depends on the program you join. This guide outlines the differences between the Squarespace Affiliate Program and the Squarespace Circle referral payment benefit.

Squarespace Affiliate Program

With the Squarespace Affiliate Program, you can earn commission on Squarespace subscriptions that are generated using tracked links. After you apply, your site will be thoroughly reviewed based on selective criteria. The Affiliate Program provides you with custom links and banners that you can post on your website, and when visitors make a purchase using these links, you’ll receive a commission. 

You earn commission when first-time Squarespace customers use your link or banner to start a:

• Website Personal or Business subscription
• Squarespace Commerce subscription
• Acuity Scheduling subscription

Subscription payouts range from $100 to $200, and there’s no cap on the number of subscriptions you can generate in a year. For full details, visit Affiliate Marketing Program Master Terms.

Affiliate benefits

After you become an affiliate, you’ll:

• Have access to fresh, creative assets to keep your audience engaged
• Receive an exclusive monthly newsletter about Squarespace’s latest features and platform updates
• Receive tracking links and banners to simplify referring people to Squarespace
• Get access to insights to track your referrals and the commissions you’ve earned

To apply to join our affiliate program and learn more about subscription payouts, go to squarespace.com/affiliates and click Start earning. You don't need to be a Circle member to participate in the Affliate program. 

There isn’t a separate affiliate program for Acuity Scheduling. Subscription payouts for any new Acuity Scheduling subscriptions that originate via your links are $45, if the new customer signs up for a paid Acuity Scheduling subscription within 45 days. 

As an affiliate, you’ll need to provide live links or screenshots to show your Acuity content is live.

Squarespace Circle referral payment benefit

The Circle referral payment benefit is an exclusive perk of Circle membership, where you can earn money for bringing your clients to Squarespace. To earn commission, eligible Circle members first need to refer the required number of qualifying subscriptions to meet the unlock threshold in the qualifying period. There are no links or referral codes for this benefit.
