Site title and logo display

How site titles and logos appear on your website.

Last updated December 11, 2024

On most sites, your site title or logo appears at the top of your site. Display also depends on your site's version:

  • On version 7.1, the site title and logo display is set by your site's header layout.
  • On version 7.0, the site title and logo display is set by your site's template.

Use this guide to learn more about how site titles and logos work on all sites, and the style tweaks to use if your site is on version 7.0.

How your site title and logo work on your site

If you add a logo, it replaces the site title. To show the site title again, remove the logo image. On version 7.1, you can add a separate logo image for your mobile site.

Your site title or logo appears on all pages of your site. When clicked, your site title or logo takes visitors to your homepage.

You can also add an SEO title to your site, which can change how the site title appears in search results and browser tabs.
