Referring Enterprise subscriptions with the Circle referral benefit

As a Circle Gold or Platinum member, you can earn money for referring your clients to Squarespace Enterprise or Acuity Enterprise, each an Enterprise referral, through the Circle referral benefit. An Enterprise referral is a qualifying lead sent by a Circle member that the Squarespace Enterprise sales team signs an enterprise contract with within 12 months of the referral submission.

If you haven't participated in the Circle referral payment benefit until now, first ensure you meet the program's eligibility requirements:

• Be a Circle Gold or Platinum Partner.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Not be an employee, family member of an employee, or an entity directly or indirectly owned or controlled by an employee or family member of an employee of Squarespace or its affiliates or subsidiaries.

If you meet the requirements and can participate, you must also register with Impact before you submit an Enterprise referral. 

For an Enterprise referral to qualify for a commission payment: 

• It needs to be submitted for a Squarespace Enterprise or Acuity Enterprise subscription. 
• The contract value needs to be at least US $14,000. 
• The contract must be signed within 12 months of the referral submission.
• Squarespace Enterprise must not already be working on a deal with the lead. 
• Only new Enterprise customers are eligible for this referral payment. 

Circle members can also refer themselves if they are a good fit for Enterprise offerings.  

If you refer a successful Enterprise subscription, you're eligible to receive US $1,000 in a one-time commission payment. You are only eligible to receive commission for the Enterprise-level subscription, not for any renewals or website subscriptions or add-ons that are added to the account. However, you can earn commissions on new successful qualifying Enterprise referrals that you refer going forward. 

Before referring a lead to Squarespace Enterprise or Acuity Scheduling Enterprise, ensure that our Enterprise offerings will meet their needs. Then, submit your referral and if accepted, receive a commission payment.

Before submitting your referral, ensure you have registered with Impact using your Circle account email address. 

To submit the referral:

1. Visit the Circle Forum to access the referral submission form. 
2. Specify in the submission which brand you're submitting the referral for, Squarespace or Acuity Scheduling. 
3. After submission completion, you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received your referral.
4. If your referral is successful, you'll receive an email with details of the payout. 

Commissions for referrals are paid out about 40 days after the end of the month in which the referral contract was fully executed. For example, if you referred a lead that signed a contract with the Enterprise sales team in January 2025, you’d receive payment for referring that lead in March 2025.

Yes, right now there's no limit to the number of successful Enterprise referrals you can earn commission for. You can also submit a Squarespace Enterprise referral and an Acuity Scheduling Enterprise referral for the same lead and receive a payout for both, if accepted. 

No, there's no opportunity for cross-over commissions. After a successful referral is converted to an Enterprise account, the site will no longer be eligible for subscription commissions.

The lead needs to sign a contract with Squarespace within 12 months of your referral submission. If the lead signs up for Enterprise after the 12-month period, you won't receive a payout for that referral. 

A referral won't count if they're already actively talking with the Squarespace Enterprise sales team. 

No, the referral payment benefit is only available to Circle members who are already participating in the program and have registered with Impact.
