Tip: This guide covers tracking a customer’s order as a store owner. Customers can track their orders from their shipping confirmation email or customer account.
Find the tracking information
Open the order to view its tracking information.
- In the Home Menu, click Commerce, then click Orders.
- Hover over the Orders drop-down menu and click Fulfilled orders. You can also search by the customer's order #, email, or name. When searching by order number, exclude the #.
- Click the order to open the order summary.
- Under Delivery, click the tracking number.
- The carrier's tracking site will open in a new browser tab.
- In the main menu, tap Commerce, then tap Orders.
- Tap the Pending drop-down and choose Fulfilled.
- Tap an order to view its details.
- Scroll down to Delivery.
- Tap the tracking number.
- The carrier’s tracking site will open in the same window.
- Tap Done or the arrow to return to the order.
Enhance shipment tracking
You can set up a branded tracking page, track all shipments in one place, and send automated delivery updates to your customers by connecting the Aftership extension. While we work with third-party services to ensure Squarespace Extensions work properly, extensions fall outside our scope of support. We can help with connecting or disconnecting your extensions. For all other questions, contact the extensions provider directly.
If a customer contacted you about their order, you can resend the order confirmation email so they have the tracking number for their records.
Tip: Customers can also track their orders from their Customer Accounts.
