Becoming an approved reseller partner means you can start selling domains without having to become an accredited registrar yourself. All small businesses need a domain name, and making it easier for your customers to register domain names can simplify their user experience, increase your customer retention, and provide you with an additional stream of income.

How it works

Contact our team to apply to become a reseller. If approved, you can complete the implementation process to begin reselling Squarespace domains using Squarespace’s reseller API. You can integrate the domain registration process directly into your existing checkout flow, so your customers can search for and purchase domains during checkout on your website.

As the reseller, you'll own the billing relationship with your customer for as long as the domain subscription remains active. You'll receive earnings on every domain, and on attached Squarespace website subscriptions.

As the registrar, Squarespace supports and manages the domains product itself, which eliminates your need to build or maintain complex domain management tools and integrations. After successfully registering a domain, your customer can log into Squarespace to manage WHOIS privacy, DNS records, and other domain settings. Moving forward, the customer will manage their domain's settings with Squarespace, and return to your site year after year to renew the domain.
