You can add Eventbrite widgets and buttons to your Squarespace site to promote events and sell tickets.
Note: Eventbrite is a third-party service you can embed on your site. It isn't possible to sync Eventbrite events to Squarespace Events Pages or use Eventbrite with Squarespace Commerce.
The steps in this guide include adding advanced code to a Code Block. This is a Premium feature available in Business and Commerce plans.
Option 1 - Add Eventbrite widgets
Eventbrite supports a variety of widgets, ranging from Buy Ticket buttons to event countdowns. Follow these steps to embed them on your site using Code Blocks.
Step 1 - Get the Eventbrite widget code
After creating an Eventbrite event, log into Eventbrite and copy your widget code. You can find instructions for finding the widget code in Eventbrite's documentation.
Step 2 - Add the Eventbrite code to your site
On your Squarespace site, choose the page, blog post, event, or other content area where you'd like the widget to appear.
Click an Insert Point and select Code from the Block Menu.
For more detailed steps, visit Adding blocks with Insert Points.
Paste the Eventbrite code into the Edit Code box. Click Save.
You can use this method to add Eventbrite widgets to pages, blog posts, event descriptions, additional product information, and more.
Note: This third-party customization falls outside the scope of our support. This means that we’re unable to help further with setup or troubleshooting. Additionally, since this is a code-based solution, we can’t guarantee its functionality or full compatibility with Squarespace. This includes how it functions with our responsive design, particularly its appearance on mobile devices, and if it functions on all templates. Third-party customizations can also cause display issues with future updates to our platform. While we can't help further, there are many resources that can point you in the right direction:
Option 2 - Add built-in buttons linking to events
Another option is to use Button Blocks to link to Eventbrite pages. This creates customizable buttons that blend into your site's design.
