Choose the currency for your online store and donations.
After connecting a payment processor to your Squarespace site, your store will automatically update to display the currency associated with your payment processor, if that currency is supported by Squarespace. You can only choose one currency for your store. Your store's currency also applies to donation blocks. Your currency formatting follows the standards for your site language.
If your country supports multiple currencies, we recommend choosing the currency used by the bank account connected to your payment processor. Funds in that currency will go to that account with no conversion fee.
It's not possible to change your store's currency after selling a gift card, including when it's sold as part of a test order.
The available currencies depend on the bank account connected to your Stripe account or the primacy currency set in your PayPal Business account.
If you’ve connected both Stripe and PayPal, a currency must be supported by both the bank account connected to your Stripe account and by PayPal to display in the drop-down menu. To learn more, visit Supported countries and currencies for Squarespace Commerce.
