Tumblr is a blogging and social networking site. Connecting Tumblr is a great way to cross-post blog posts and encourage visitors to share your content on their blogs. This guide explores different ways you can use Tumblr with Squarespace.

Here's what you can do with this integration:

Tip

If you're moving from Tumblr to Squarespace, you can import your Tumblr posts.

Connect your Tumblr account

To authorize your account:

  1. Open the Connected Accounts panel.
  2. Click Connect Account.
  3. Select Tumblr from the Social Accounts menu.
  4. Log in using your Tumblr username and password.
  5. Click Allow
  6. From the Primary Blog drop-down menu, select the blog to connect. Blog posts you push from Squarespace will publish on this blog.
  7. Click Save

Add a social icon

To display a social icon:

  1. Open the Social links panel.
  2. Add your Tumblr blog link.
