You can register, transfer, or connect domains ending in .pl to Squarespace. These domains are a great option if you have a business or professional presence in Poland.

The .pl country code top-level domain (ccTLD) follows different rules than most other TLDs we offer. This guide covers certain special requirements and exceptions from Squarespace and the relevant organization that oversees .pl domain registration. Browse the table below to learn about the unique features and rules of registering or transferring a domain ending in .pl. If you connect a .pl domain to your site from a third-party provider, these guidelines don’t apply.

Feature	Rules
Domain locking	These domains can't be locked.
Expired domains	If your domain expires, your next steps depend on who your registrar is: Tucows: When these domains expire, we can’t renew them for you. These expired domains return to their registrar, Tucows. You have a 30-day redemption period to contact Tucows and request a renewal. Key-Systems: You have about 25 days after the domain’s expiration date to renew. Once the domain no longer appears on your account dashboard, the option to restore is not available. If your domain can’t be renewed, contact us to confirm if the domain can be reactivated.
Five-day registration grace period	There’s no five-day grace period to cancel these domains and no refunds. Before registering the domain, ensure you want to keep it. Double-check the domain for typos.
Free domain offer	You can use the free domain offer when registering or transferring these domains.
Transferring away form Squarespace	The owner contact of the domain must approve the transfer via email within five days of initiating transfer. It's not possible to resend this email. After five days, the registry automatically cancels the transfer and you must initiate the transfer again.
Transferring to Squarespace	At the time of transfer, if the domain has more than seven days left on its current registration, it’ll transfer in with any time remaining on its registration, but its registration isn't extended for any amount of time. If the domain will expire within seven days at the time of transfer, you'll pay for one year of registration when transferring in.
Whois privacy	Whois privacy isn't available.
