Using Scheduling add-ons

When you use Scheduling add-ons, clients can customize their appointments, paying for extra services or adding extra time. This guide will explain how to add, edit, and delete Scheduling add-ons, as well as where you and your clients will find them when booking appointments.

To add an add-on:

  1. In the Home menu, click Scheduling.
  2. Click Appointment Types, then Add-ons.
  3. Click Add New Add-On.
  4. Enter a name. If you want the add-on to be hidden from clients and visible only to staff in the Scheduling panel, check Hide this from clients.
  5. Enter the amounts the price and time should change. You can leave these fields blank for no change, or use negative numbers to reduce price or duration.
  6. Check off the appointment types which you want this add-on to be available.
  7. Click Create New Add-On.

 

To edit an existing add-on:

  1. In the Home menu, click Scheduling.
  2. Click Appointment Types, then Add-ons.
  3. Hover over the add-on you'd like to edit, then click the pencil icon.
  4. Make your changes and click Update Add-On.

To delete an add-on:

  1. In the Home menu, click Scheduling.
  2. Click Appointment Types, then Add-ons.
  3. Hover over the add-on you'd like to delete, click the trash can icon, then click OK.
Note:
  • Add-ons can affect the prices of group classes, but not their durations.
  • Coupons for a percent discount will apply to the entire cost of an appointment, including any add-ons the client selects. If you only want to offer a discount on the appointment's base price, switch to coupons good for a specific amount off the appointment price instead.

How add-ons appear

When clients book an appointment, they’ll choose the appointment type, then will have the option to choose add-ons. Clients are not required to select an add-on when scheduling.

When you schedule an appointment for a client in the Scheduling panel, add-on options will appear after you select the appointment type. Add-ons available for that appointment type (including add-ons hidden from clients) will be listed below the appointment type, with check boxes. Check the add-ons you want to include and continue booking for your client as you normally would.

Note: If a client books recurring appointments and chooses an add-on, the add-on will be applied to all of the appointments.
