Create, view, and manage your appointments on the go.
Use our mobile admin app to view and manage appointments on the go. The app is called Squarespace Scheduling by Acuity in the Google Play Store, and Acuity Schedule Admin in the Apple App Store.
You can use the app for Acuity Scheduling or Squarespace Scheduling.
What you can do in the app
In the app, you can:
- View appointments and search your Scheduling calendars
- Cancel, edit, or reschedule appointments
- Book new appointments for clients
- Block off time from your calendar
- Accept payments
- Resend your clients’ confirmation emails
- Share direct links
- Manage your availability and scheduling limits
- View and edit your client list
- Create invoices
- Create new appointment types and group classes
- Manage payment settings (Acuity Scheduling only)
- Update your account information (Acuity Scheduling only)
- Send feedback about your experience using the app
- Control your notification settings
To set up or edit more advanced settings, log into Scheduling on a computer.
Create a new appointment
To create a new appointment for a client:
- From the app home screen, tap +, then tap Add appointment.
- Use the Appointment type, Calendar, and Date fields to set appointment details.
- Use the Time field to choose a time from the list, or use the Custom time or Recurring buttons. After you’ve made your selection, tap Select time.
- Tap the Client field. Enter the client’s name, email address, and phone number (optional). The app will suggest details for returning clients. After you’ve made your selection, tap Select client.
- Tap other fields to add labels, add-ons, or notes, or to edit intake forms or coupon or package codes. If you don’t want Scheduling to send your client an email, uncheck Send confirmation email.
- Tap Schedule appointment.
Block off time from your calendar
To block off time:
- From the app home screen, tap +, then tap Block time.
- If you tap Block multiple days, you'll choose a start and end date. Otherwise, you'll choose a start and end time and a day.
- If you want your block to repeat every week, tap Repeat and follow the prompts.
- After choosing all options, tap Add block.
Reschedule an appointment
To reschedule an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Scheduling calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Reschedule.
- Choose a new date and time for the appointment.
- (Optional) If you don’t want Scheduling to send your client an email, uncheck Send rescheduling email.
- Tap Reschedule appointment.
Edit an appointment
To edit an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Scheduling calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap any field to change the appointment type, calendar, client, labels, add-ons, notes, intake form replies, or coupon or package code for the appointment.
- Once you’ve edited the details, tap Confirm changes.
Add another appointment
If a client wants to rebook the same appointment type, you can add another appointment from the appointment summary:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Scheduling calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap New appointment.
- Tap the Date field to select another date, then tap the Time field to select an available time. Tap any of the other fields to make more changes, if needed.
- Tap Schedule appointment.
Resend the client’s confirmation email
To resend a confirmation email:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Scheduling calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Resend confirmation email, then tap Resend confirmation email again.
Cancel an appointment
To cancel an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Scheduling calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Cancel.
- (Optional) To mark the appointment as a no-show, tap This was a no-show appointment.
- (Optional) To prevent Scheduling from sending the client a cancellation email, uncheck Send cancellation email.
- (Optional) If Send cancellation email is checked, you can tap the Notes field to add a note to the client.
- Tap Confirm cancellation.
Manage availability and scheduling limits
To change when clients can book appointments, you can update your availability and scheduling limits. To manage your availability, from the app home screen, tap the clock icon.
Depending on your device, when viewing your calendar in the Scheduling mobile admin app, hours outside your availability may not be shaded to show their status. This is a display difference only, the times clients can book with you won't change.

Manage payment settings (Acuity Scheduling only)
To connect to a payment processor or manage your payment settings, from the Scheduling mobile admin app home screen, tap the , then tap Payment settings.

Manage appointment types and group classes
To create new appointment types or group classes, or to edit the appointment types and group classes you already have, in the app home screen, tap the , then tap Appointment types.

Send a direct link
You can link clients directly to schedulers that have an already-selected calendar, appointment type, category, or location. To find direct links, from the app home screen, tap the share icon.
Use the latest version
To check which version of the app you have, in the app’s home screen, tap the . The app version appears at the bottom of the menu.
To check for updates, tap the app version number. If an update is available, your device will download it and the update will apply the next time the app restarts. You can prompt this by force-closing and restarting the app.
Tip: Some major updates will require you to go to your app store and update the app manually.
Report a problem
If you're having trouble with the Scheduling mobile admin app, use the in-app feedback tool to contact us. This tool sends us information we can use to diagnose and fix your problem, especially if you send the report immediately after the problem happens.
Note: We’ve updated our in-app feedback tool. To ensure your feedback is successfully sent to Squarespace, you should update your Squarespace mobile admin app to the latest version.
To use the in-app feedback tool:
- Trigger the feedback tool by shaking your mobile device or taking a screenshot.
- Tap Report an issue.
- Enter a description of the issue or suggestion.
- To include a screenshot, tap Mark the bug. To draw on the screenshot and highlight the problem, tap the pencil icon. Click the color picker to select a different annotation color. When you're done, tap Next.
- To send your feedback, tap the Submit.
You can also contact support using the in-app feedback tool.
- Trigger the feedback tool by shaking your mobile device or taking a screenshot.
- Tap Contact Squarespace support.
- Enter your message.
- Enter your email address.
- Tap Submit.
Control push notifications
The Scheduling mobile admin app can send you push notifications when clients book new appointments, when appointments are rescheduled, and when appointments are canceled.
To enable these notifications, in the app home screen, tap the , then tap Notifications settings.
You can:
- Toggle push notifications on or off.
- Toggle notifications for new, rescheduled, and canceled appointments on or off if push notifications are enabled.
After you’ve made your selections, tap Save.
