Using the Scheduling mobile admin app

Use our mobile admin app to view and manage appointments on the go. You can also manage some basic account settings. The app is called Squarespace Scheduling by Acuity in the Google Play Store, and Acuity Schedule Admin in the Apple App Store.

Use the full web app to configure or edit more advanced settings.

Create a new appointment

To create a new appointment:

  1. From the app home screen, tap +, then tap New Appointment.
  2. Tap the Appointment Type field and tap the appointment type, then tap the Date field and choose the date.
  3. Tap the Time field. Choose a time from the list that appears or use the Custom Time or Recurring Time to choose a custom or recurring option, then tap Select Time.
  4. Tap the Client field. Enter the client’s name, email address, and optionally phone number. The app will suggest details for returning clients.
  5. Tap Select Client.
  6. Tap on other fields to add labels, add-ons, or notes, or to edit intake forms or coupon or package codes. If you don’t want Scheduling to send your client an email, uncheck Send Confirmation Email.
  7. Tap Schedule Appointment.

Block off time from your calendar

To block off time:

  1. From the app home screen, tap +, then tap Block Off Time.
  2. If you tap Block Multiple Days, you’ll be given the option to choose a start and end date. If you do not tap it, you’ll be given the option to choose a start and end time and a day.
  3. If you tap a block on a specific day, you can opt to have it repeat every week by tapping Repeat and following the prompt.
  4. Once all your options are chosen, tap Add Block.

Reschedule an appointment

To reschedule an appointment:

  1. From the home screen, navigate to the date of the appointment.
  2. Tap on the appointment, then tap the pencil icon in the lower right.
  3. Tap Reschedule Appointment.
  4. To choose a new date, tap on the Date field, then tap on the new date.
  5. To choose a new time, tap on the Time field, choose a time from the list, then tap Select Time.
  6. If you don’t want Scheduling to send your client an email, uncheck Send Confirmation Email.
  7. Tap Reschedule Appointment.

Edit an appointment

To edit an appointment:

  1. From the home screen, navigate to the date of the appointment.
  2. Tap on the appointment, then tap the pencil icon in the lower right.
  3. Tap Edit Appointment.
  4. Tap on any field to change the appointment type, client, labels, add-ons, notes, intake form replies, or coupon or package code for the appointment.
  5. Once you’ve edited the details, tap Confirm Changes.

Resend the client’s confirmation email

To resend a confirmation email:

  1. From the home screen, navigate to the date of the appointment.
  2. Tap on the appointment, then tap the pencil icon in the lower right.
  3. Tap Resend Confirmation Email.

Cancel an appointment

To cancel an appointment:

  1. From the home screen, navigate to the date of the appointment.
  2. Tap on the appointment, then tap the pencil icon in the lower right.
  3. Tap Cancel Appointment.
  4. Tap This was a no-show appointment if you want to mark the appointment as a no-show.
  5. Tap Send cancellation email if you do not want Scheduling to send the client a cancellation email.
  6. If Send cancellation email is checked, you can tap on the Notes field to include a note to the client.
  7. Tap Confirm Cancellation.

Manage settings

With the mobile app, you can access some settings that are also available in the main web app. To access the settings, tap the in the top left corner.

Send a direct link

You can link clients directly to schedulers that have an already-selected calendar, appointment type, category or location. To find direct links, open the sidebar navigation and tap Share Direct Links.
