Connecting TripAdvisor with Squarespace

TripAdvisor is a service that lets visitors compare hotel prices across multiple booking sites. You can create a TripAdvisor account for a business listing, or a community account to save trip details and connect with travelers. This guide explains how add a TripAdvisor icon to your site.

Connect your TripAdvisor account

Before you start using TripAdvisor with Squarespace, connect your account:

  1. In the Home Menu, click Settings.
  2. Click Connected Accounts.
  3. Click Connect Account.
  4. Select TripAdvisor from the Social Accounts menu.
  5. Enter your TripAdvisor URL. You can link to a business listing or a community account page.
  6. Enter a Label. On some templates, the label appears when visitors hover over the TripAdvisor social icon.
  7. Click Add.

Add a social icon

Add a TripAdvisor social icon that links to your TripAdvisor page:

  1. In Connected Accounts, click your TripAdvisor account to open TripAdvisor Settings.
  2. Ensure Show Social Icon is checked.
  3. Click Save.

After connecting TripAdvisor to Squarespace, the social icon will automatically display in most templates, but not all of them. You can also add social icons using the Social Links Block.
