The Squarespace Commerce App lets you manage your Squarespace store on the go. Use the app to scan shipping labels, fulfill orders, manage product inventory, and contact customers from your mobile device. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.
Before you begin
To use the Commerce app, you’ll need:
- An active Commerce store on a Squarespace 7 site
- Administrator or Store Manager permissions
- An internet connection

Using the Commerce App
You can use the app to:
- Fulfill orders and scan shipping labels
- View order details
- Edit products (iOS only)
- Add product tags and categories (iOS only)
- Update stock levels
- View customer details
- Contact a customer
- Create or manage discounts
- Add order notes
- Refund and cancel orders
- Track shipments
You can’t use the app to:
- Charge for payments or connect with a point of sale system
- Add new products
For functions not supported by the app, log into your store on a desktop.
Supported operating systems
- The Commerce App for Android requires Android 4.4 (KitKat) and up and is optimized for phones and tablets.
- The Commerce App for iOS requires iOS 10.0 or later and is optimized for iPhones. We don’t recommend using the app with an iPad.
- Download the app for Android or iOS.
- After opening the Commerce app, follow the prompts to log into your account or start a new one. For help logging in, visit I can't log in.
- If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account, you'll be prompted to enter your six-digit authentication code after logging in. To learn more, visit Protect your account with two-factor authentication.
- Once you're logged in, you’ll see your Orders dashboard, grouped by Pending, Fulfilled, and Canceled. Orders are sorted by date, with the oldest orders at the top.
- Use the main menu at the bottom of the screen to access Inventory or Customer, or tap More to switch sites or learn about the app.
- If you have questions about using the app, tap More, then tap Help to browse guides. In the Help Center, you can tap Contact Us to open a ticket, or tap Give Feedback to send us your thoughts about the app.
Scanning a shipping label
If you have the shipping label ready when you’re fulfilling an order, you can scan the tracking number from the app:
- In the main menu, tap Orders.
- In the Pending tab, tap an order to fulfill.
- Tap Mark as Fulfilled.
- Tap the barcode icon to open the scanner.
- If prompted, allow Commerce to access your camera. If you’ve disabled camera access, enable it in your device's settings.
- Align the camera with the shipping barcode, ensuring that the barcode fits fully in the scanner field.
- Hover until your device accepts the scan. The window will close, and the tracking number and carrier will display.
- Tap Confirm to fulfill the order.
Note: If you don’t have the shipping label, or if you’re having trouble scanning, tap the Tracking Number field to enter the number manually.
