Use the Squarespace Commerce App to manage your Squarespace store on the go. You can scan shipping labels, fulfill orders, manage product inventory, and contact customers from your mobile device. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.

Before you begin
To use the Commerce app, you’ll need:
- A Squarespace site on a paid plan or a trial, on version 7.0 or 7.1
- Administrator or Store Manager permissions. Store Managers can use the app with limited permissions.
- An internet connection

If your site is on a trial, and you're using the iOS version of the app, you can upgrade to a Mobile Start plan using in-app purchase.

Using the Commerce App
Click the tabs below to see what you can do with the Squarespace Commerce App. For functions not supported by the app, log into your store on a desktop.

Getting started
- Download the app for Android or iOS.
- After opening the Commerce app, follow the prompts to log into your account or start a new one. For help logging in, visit I can't log in.
- If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account, you'll be prompted to enter your six-digit authentication code after logging in. To learn more, visit Protect your account with two-factor authentication.
- When you're logged in, you’ll see your Orders dashboard, grouped by Pending, Fulfilled, and Canceled. Orders are sorted by date, with the oldest orders at the top.
- Use the main menu at the bottom of the screen to access Inventory or Customer, or tap More to switch sites or learn about the app.
- In the Help Center, you can tap Contact Us to open a ticket, or tap Give Feedback to send us your thoughts about the app.
Squarespace Point of Sale
Use the Commerce App and a supported Square card reader as a point of sale system. You can accept cash or card payments in person that integrate with your online store. Squarespace Point of Sale is available in The United States for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. To learn more, visit Selling in person with Squarespace Point of Sale.
Redeem gift cards in person
You can redeem a customer's gift card in person using the Commerce App. Your customer will need to know their gift card code, which they can find in their gift card confirmation email.
To redeem some or all of the gift card balance:
- In the Discounts tab, tap Gift Cards.
- Enter the gift card code. The gift card balance will display.
- To redeem the full amount, tap Redeem full amount.
- To redeem a partial amount, enter the amount and tap Redeem.
- Tap Done.
To redeem some or all of the gift card balance:
- In the Discounts tab, tap Gift Cards.
- Enter the gift card code. The gift card balance will display.
- To redeem the full amount, tap Redeem full amount.
- To redeem a partial amount, enter the amount and tap Redeem.
- Tap Done.
You and your customer will receive an email receipt for this transaction. The email displays the purchased item as Gift card redemption, and shows the remaining gift card balance.
View in-app gift card redemptions in Sales analytics. They display in the Point of Sale channel.
Scan a shipping label
If you have the shipping label ready when you’re fulfilling an order, you can scan the tracking number from the app.
If you don’t have the shipping label, or if you’re having trouble scanning, tap the Tracking Number field to enter the number manually.
- In the main menu, tap Orders.
- In the Pending tab, tap an order to fulfill.
- Tap Mark as Fulfilled.
- Tap the barcode icon to open the scanner.
- If prompted, allow Commerce to access your camera. If you’ve disabled camera access, enable it in your device's settings.
- Align the camera with the shipping barcode, ensuring that the barcode fits fully in the scanner field.
- Hover until your device accepts the scan. The window will close, and the tracking number and carrier will display.
- Tap Confirm to fulfill the order.
- In the main menu, tap Orders.
- In the Pending tab, tap an order to fulfill.
- Tap Mark as Fulfilled.
- Tap the barcode icon to open the scanner.
- If prompted, allow Commerce to access your camera. If you’ve disabled camera access, enable it in your device's settings.
- Align the camera with the shipping barcode, ensuring that the barcode fits fully in the scanner field.
- Hover until your device accepts the scan. The window will close, and the tracking number and carrier will display.
- Tap Confirm to fulfill the order.
