There are two reasons this error might happen. Our servers might be blocking your IP address because we're getting a high volume of requests, or it could be an issue with your domain's DNS settings. To fix the issue:

502 Bad Gateway |
There are a few reasons this error might happen. There could be something wrong with your domain, or it could just be an issue with your browser or connection. To fix the issue:

This error message may be related to a system-wide connectivity issue. Review our Status page to check for outages that may be affecting your site. If there isn't a system-wide issue, follow the steps in Troubleshooting browser issues. |
Access denied: Invalid Session Crumb |
You haven’t enabled cookies on your browser. Cookies help us run Squarespace, so they're required to use our service. To fix the issue:

Messages like these can appear if you try to access a Squarespace site from behind a firewall that blocks it. You might have this issue if you’re on a corporate network, or if you use firewall software. To fix the issue, adjust your network’s security settings. |
Unusual traffic detected |
This message appears as a security measure if we detect an unusually high number of requests from the same IP address at the same time. Sometimes a connection, hardware issue, or browser extension falsely triggers this message. In rare cases, it happens if there are many devices on the same network looking at your site. To fix the issue:

This message appears when you visit a domain that has DNS records pointing to Squarespace, but isn't connected to a specific site. If you see this message when visiting your domain, ensure it's connected to a site. |
This site can’t be reached: DNS PROBE FINISHED (NXDOMAIN)

This usually appears when you try pointing a domain to a non-Squarespace site. This message means the servers couldn’t find any IP addresses or A records listed in your domain’s DNS records. To fix this, add any missing A records to your DNS settings. |
