Resending email notifications

Squarespace automatically sends Order Confirmation and Shipping Notice emails to your customers. If a customer asks you to resend an email or to send it to a new address, you can do this from the order summary.

Step 1 - Go to the Orders panel

Depending on your plan:

  • In the Home Menu, click Commerce, and then click Orders.
  • In the Home Menu, click Orders.

You can also press ? while any panel is open and search orders.

Step 2 - Select an order

Click any order to open the Order Summary window. You can also search by the customer's order #, email, or name in the Search box. When searching by order number, exclude the #.

Step 3 - Open the Email Notifications tab

In the Order Summary window, click the Email Notifications tab.

Step 4 - Resend an email

Order confirmation email

To resend the Order confirmation email, verify the email address that will receive the confirmation, then click Send.

Order fulfilled email

To resend the Order fulfilled notification, verify the email address that will receive the confirmation, and then click Send. This is useful if the customer requested a tracking number.

Digital download email

If the customer needs access to their Digital Download Link after it expires or wants it sent to a different address, you can send an email with a new link. To learn more, visit Resending a digital download link.

Tip: Before sending real email notifications, you can preview how they appear to customers by sending test emails.
