How many products and variants can I import?

It depends on your site’s version. In version 7.1, you can import up to 500 products at a time from Etsy. Product pages have a 10,000 product limit, so you can repeat the import using the same store page until you reach the limit. In version 7.0, you can import up to 200 products per store page. Products can have up to 100 variants.

What product details import to Squarespace?

Import Etsy products to Squarespace

Import your entire Etsy inventory to an existing store page in Squarespace:

1. Ensure your measurement standard is the same between Etsy and Squarespace.
2. Add a store page.
3. Open the Products & Services panel, click Products, then click Import.
4. Click Etsy, then click Get started.
5. Choose the store page where you want to import the products.
6. Click Start import.
7. Log into Etsy.
8. Click Grant access. If your Etsy shop currency is different than your Squarespace store's currency, we'll ask you to change your store's currency. When your store currencies don't match, products import with a price of $0.00.
9. Imported products are published automatically on the store page you selected. If you’re not ready to display them, you can hide them.

Import Etsy product reviews to Squarespace

You can also import Etsy reviews so your customer reviews appear on product details pages.

Disconnect your Etsy account

To disconnect your Etsy account:

1. Open the Products & Services panel and click Products.
2. Click Import.
3. Click Etsy, click Use a different shop, then click Disconnect.

Why did the import include inactive products?

The Etsy product import might include inactive products if your Etsy store is in vacation mode, or if your import didn’t include any active or sold out products.

Import Shopify products to Squarespace

Import your Shopify inventory to a new store page in Squarespace.

1. In your Shopify account, follow their steps to download a .csv file of your inventory. Save the .csv to your computer.
2. Open the Products & Services panel and click Products.
3. Click Import.
4. Click Shopify in the Import Products menu.
5. Drag and drop the .csv file from Shopify into the upload box.
6. Click Import.
7. A Success message displays after the import is complete.

Find your imported products

The imported products appear in a new store page in Squarespace, hidden from your navigation. To find the products:

1. Open the Pages panel.
2. In the Not linked section, click the page called Imported Products. If it doesn't appear, refresh your browser.
3. Move the store page to your site’s navigation, or move the products to an existing page.

Move your Shopify products to an existing store page

You can’t import Shopify products to an existing store page, but you can move the products to an existing page afterwards.

Import your Big Cartel inventory to a new store page in Squarespace.

1. Open the Products & Services panel, click Products, then click Import.
2. Click Big Cartel in the Import Site menu.
3. Enter your full Big Cartel URL. For example, http://examplestore.bigcartel.com.
4. Click Import.
5. A Success message appears after the import is complete.

Find your imported products

The imported products appear in a new store page in Squarespace, hidden from navigation. To find the products:

1. Open the Pages panel.
2. In the Not linked section, click the page called Imported Products. If it doesn't appear, refresh your browser.
