Connect your Flickr account

Before you start using Flickr with Squarespace, you need to connect your account:

  1. In the Home Menu, click Settings.
  2. Click Connected Accounts.
  3. Click Connect Account.
  4. Select Flickr from the Social Accounts menu.
  5. Log in using your Flickr username and password.

Add a social icon

You can add a Flickr Social Icon that links to your Flickr profile:

  1. In Connected Accounts, click your Flickr account to open Flickr Settings.
  2. Ensure Show Social Icon is checked.
  3. Click Save.

The Profile URL is automatically set to lead to your Flickr profile.

Note: After connecting Flickr to Squarespace in this step, the social icon will automatically display in most templates, but not all of them. You can also add social icons using the Social Links Block. Learn how these icons display in your template in our template guides.

Pull content from Flickr using blocks

You can display your Flickr images on your site using the Flickr Block. This is a great way to embed your Flickr content on your site without using third-party widgets.

Note: We update the connection with your Flickr account about every 30 minutes. If you ever need to refresh the connection between Squarespace and Flickr, return to Connected Accounts, click your Flickr account, and then click Reset Data.
