Set page images and logos to control how featured content looks on social media apps and link previews.

When someone shares a URL from your site on a social media platform or in a text message, a social sharing image can display alongside the link. Adding one is optional, and you can control how your link looks even on pages that don't include any images.

The two types of social sharing images:

• Social sharing logo - Represents your whole site.
• Alternate Social Sharing Image - Represents individual pages or collection items, like blog posts, products, events, and portfolio sub-pages. Not currently available for gallery images or album tracks.

What image size to use

Images shared on Facebook need to be 200px × 200px or larger. Facebook changes their preferred image sizes often, so if your image displays cropped, try a few sizes to find what works. For current recommendations, visit Facebook's documentation on image best practices.
