If you need to contact a customer about an order, you can find their email in the order summary. This is a great way to inform customers about shipping delays, product substitutions, and other issues.
Step 1 - Go to the Orders panel
Depending on your plan:
- In the Home Menu, click Commerce, and then click Orders.
- In the Home Menu, click Orders.
You can also press the ? key while any panel is open and search orders.
Step 2 - Select an order
Click an order to open the Order Summary window. You can also search by the customer's order #, email, or name in the Search box. When searching by order number, exclude the #.
Step 3 - Send an email
In the Order Summary window, copy the customer's email address.
Then use your email provider to send your customer an email.
