When a customer purchases a digital product, they'll receive an automated email with a unique download link for the digital file. For security, after a customer clicks the link, they have 24 hours to download the product. After 24 hours, the link will expire.
If the customer needs the file after the link expires or wants it sent to a different address, you can send an email with a new link any time by following this guide.
Note: It's not possible to resend the digital download link for deleted products.
- In the Home Menu, click Commerce, and then click Orders. You can also press ? while any panel is open and search orders.
- Find and click the order for the digital product. You can scroll down the page or search by the customer's order #, email, or name. When searching by order number, exclude the #.
- In the order summary, click the Email Notifications tab.
- Under Resend and Refresh Digital Goods, check that the customer's email address is correct, and then click Send. The new link will remain active for 24 hours after its first clicked.
