Scheduling products

You can schedule a product to appear on your site later, at a time you specify. This lets you create the product in advance but hide it from your store until you're ready to sell it. This is a great option if you release new product lines periodically and want to launch your new collection all at once.

Note: The scheduled date and time is based on your time zone in Regional Settings, not a visitor’s local time. Review these settings to ensure your products publish at the correct time.

To schedule a product:

  1. In the Home Menu, click Pages.
  2. Click a Products Page.
  3. Double-click a product to open the product editor. For detailed steps, visit Editing a product.
  4. In the product editor, click Hidden (or Visible if the product is currently listed).
  5. Select Scheduled.
  6. Click the date next to Will be visible.
  7. In the calendar window, select a date and time for the product to become visible. You can also use the slider to make the product visible in a specified number of days from now.
  8. Click Save.

  3. Tap Status.
  4. Tap Scheduled.
  5. Select the date and time the product will become visible.
  6. Tap Edit product to save your changes and return to the product details.
  7. Tap Save.

Scheduled products have a Scheduled status in the Product and Inventory panels. On the product’s scheduled date, the status will change to Visible.
