You can set shipping rules to control where you ship your products. Each shipping method can be set with its own country restrictions.
When a customer enters their shipping address at checkout, the shipping options for their country will display. Only countries with set shipping rules will be available in the Country drop-down menu in the Shipping Address section.
Customers won't be able to add a shipping address outside of these countries unless you enable shipping to the rest of the world.
Before you begin
- Before setting up country restrictions, first create general shipping rules. To learn more, visit Setting up shipping rates.
- Carrier Calculated via USPS is only available for domestic shipping within the United States.
- By default, shipping rules only apply to the country entered as your Business Address. Country restrictions must be enabled to apply shipping rules abroad. For help setting your Business Address, visit Business Information Settings.
Step 1 - Open the Shipping panel
In the Home Menu, click Settings, and then click Shipping.
Step 2 - Set country restrictions
You can set Country Restrictions for Flat Rate and Depending on Weight shipping options.
Note: Carrier Calculated shipping is only available for domestic shipping within the United States.
Open a shipping method and click the Country Restrictions tab.
To restrict your shipping method to certain countries, Ship To The Rest Of The World must be unchecked.
Then click the + icon under Countries Allowed and add each country where you'll offer your shipping method.
At checkout, the countries with set shipping rules will be available in the Country drop-down menu in the Shipping Address section. After customers select their country, they'll only be shown the shipping options set for that country.
Step 3 - Ship to the rest of the world (optional)
Check Ship to the Rest of the World to apply this shipping option to any country in the world without a country specific shipping option.
For example, if you create shipping option for the United States, Canada, and Mexico, then create another shipping option with Ship to the Rest of the World, this option will appear whenever a customer selects a country that isn't the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
