Connecting IMDb with Squarespace

IMDb is an online database for film and television. This guide covers adding an IMDb icon to your site.

Connect your IMDb account

Before you can start using IMDb with Squarespace, you need to connect your account: 

Desktop Mobile
  1. In the Home Menu, click Settings.
  2. Click Connected Accounts.
  3. Click Connect Account.
  4. Select IMDb from the Social Accounts menu.
  5. Go to your IMDb page and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. 
  6. Enter your IMDb URL and Label. On some templates, the label may appear when visitors hover over the IMDb social icon.
  7. Click Add.

  3. Tap Connect Account.
  4. Select IMDb from the Social Accounts menu.
  5. Go to your IMDb page and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. 
  6. Enter your IMDb URL and Label. On some templates, the label may appear when visitors hover over the IMDb social icon.
  7. Tap Add

Add a social icon

You can add an IMDb social icon that links to an IMDb page:

  1. In Connected Accounts, click your IMDb account to open IMDb Settings. 
  2. Ensure Show Social Icon is checked. 
  3. Click Save.

  2. Ensure Show Social Icon is checked. 
  3. Tap Save. 

The Profile URL is automatically set to lead to your IMDb page.

After connecting IMDb to Squarespace, the social icon will automatically display in most templates, but not all of them. You can also add social icons using the Social Links Block.
