Using your G Suite email with Squarespace

After signing up for G Suite by Google, you can use your custom email address to bring more of your online presence together.

Follow the steps in this guide to use G Suite to manage communication from and about your site.

Hinweis: Verwende deine G Suite-Adresse nicht als E-Mail-Adresse deines Squarespace-Kontos. Wenn deine Domain abläuft oder du das Kennwort für beide Konten vergessen hast, könntest du von Squarespace gesperrt werden. Wenn du dies bereits getan hast, empfehlen wir dir, die E-Mail-Adresse deines Kontos zu ändern.

Send form submissions to your new email address

To send Form Block or Cover Page form submissions to your new address, follow the steps below or visit Managing form and newsletter storage for detailed steps. If you have multiple forms on your site, update them separately.

To send Form Block submissions to your new email address:

  1. Open the page where you added the Form Block.
  2. Fahre mit dem Mauszeiger über den Inhaltsbereich und klicke auf Bearbeiten.
  3. Click Edit on the Form Block.
  4. Click the Storage tab in the Form Block editor.
  5. Click the x next to the email address (the first field).
  6. Das E-Mail-Feld lässt sich daraufhin bearbeiten.
  7. Enter your new G Suite email address in the field (ex: name@yourdomain.tld).
  8. Klicken Sie auf Verbinden.
  9. Save the Form Block and the page.

To send Cover Page form submissions to a new email address:

  1. Klicken Sie im Hauptmenü auf Seiten.
  2. Click on your Cover Page in the Pages panel.
  3. Click Action.
  4. Klicke auf Formular bearbeiten.
  5. Click the Storage tab in the Form editor.
  6. Enter your new email address in the first field.
  7. Klicken Sie auf Verbinden.
  8. Save the form and the Cover Page.

Send form submissions to Google Drive

To automatically create a spreadsheet of form submissions, connect any form on your site to a new Google Sheet in your G Suite's Google Drive. After it's connected, you can review form submissions by opening the sheet in Google Drive. If you have multiple forms, update them separately.

To collect Form Block or Newsletter Block submissions in a Google Sheet:

  1. Open the page where you added the Form Block or Newsletter Block.
  2. Fahre mit dem Mauszeiger über den Inhaltsbereich und klicke auf Bearbeiten.
  3. Double-click on the Form Block or Newsletter Block.
  4. Click the Storage tab in the Form Block editor.
  5. Click Google Drive.
  6. If prompted, select your G Suite account, then click Allow in the pop-up message to allow Squarespace to access your Google Drive.
  7. The box will turn blue. Create a name for the Google Sheet where you’ll receive new form submissions.
  8. Save the form and the page.

To send Cover Page submissions in a Google Sheet:

  1. Klicken Sie im Hauptmenü auf Seiten.
  2. Click on your Cover Page in the Pages panel.
  3. Click Action.
  4. Klicke auf Formular bearbeiten.
  5. Click the Storage tab in the Form editor.
  6. Click Google Drive.
  7. If prompted, select your G Suite account, then click Allow in the pop-up message to allow Squarespace to access your Google Drive.
  8. The box will turn blue. Enter the name of the Google Sheet where you’ll receive new form submissions.
  9. Save the form and the page.

Change your email address where it shows on your site

If you show your email address in your Contact Page, About Page, footer, or elsewhere on your site, you may want to update it to reflect your new address.

Update your Commerce reply-to email address

Change the Reply-To address for order and donation notifications so you can communicate with customers or donors from your new G Suite address.
